I’m just now – a week later – able to resurface as a semi-normal human after the wonderful-beyond-words experience of CSU Summer Arts, where I was a part of a class called “Transcribing the Soul: Solo Performance.”
In the awesomeness of the universe lining up perfectly, I finished the class last Sunday (gushy, mushy post about it forthcoming) and tomorrow – August 3 – and again on August 24 – I will be doing my first solo theater performance (outside of our workshop culmination)!
What: Monday Night Marsh
Where: The Marsh SF, 1062 Valencia St., SF, CA
When: Doors at 7 p.m., show at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 3 and Aug. 24
Tickets: $8, first come, first served
What: 15- to 20-minute solo works-in-progress by 4 performers
In fact, the piece I will be performing is adapted from this post here, called “Now You See Me.”
